Export to Navisworks Revit revit, navisworks ivanm September 8, 2017, 6:15pm 1 I’m trying to create 2 procedures: Exports current 3d view as NWC (Navisworks) saves to given project folder. The free Navisworks 3D Viewer opens this format as well, but it, too, cant edit the file. Make sure Revit 2014 is checked ON (it should be, and it was probably checked on when you installed in the first place). View name filename Exports ALL 3d views with specific keyword and saves to project folder, View name filename, same as above. When all views have been exported, the progress bar will disappear. It should only take a minute or two, and when it’s done, you should be able to launch Revit 2014 and see an “External Tools” item on the “Add-Ins” tab of the ribbon, which will include the Navisworks Exporter. The progress bar will show the current export status. When you're ready to publish, click Publish. To change the publish folder, click Select Folder and select the folder you want to use. The publish folder will be automatically set to the same location from which the Revit file was opened. To change the exported file name of the view, click on the view name and enter the name to use for export. If a specific view is not required for export then it can be unselected by unchecking the tickbox on the left side of the window. Views that cannot be exported to NWC format will be unchecked and disabled. The views associated with selected view set will be displayed. Select the view set that you want to export from the drop-down menu.Note: If this button is not enabled you may need to install the Navisworks NWC Export Utility. ![]()
